Our main goal of having sheep is to relish in their delicious meat, plushy wool, and quirky personalities. So far, we have found these animals to be hilarious and exciting to have on the farm. We have two Suffolk/Hampshire ewes and their 2025 ewe lambs. Our focus is to breed these Foundation and F1 (25%) ewes into the Valais Blacknose Sheep Society, to create our own line of Valais. The Valais is a gorgeous, sweet as can be, joyous breed, and I hope some day we can actually get to purebred.

We are thrilled to be working on this project, though it has come with heartache already as we lost our first 50% Valais ewe in 2024. Luckily, we were able to grow out our 2024, 50% ram lamb and use him over our Foundation ewes for these two amazing ewe lambs that we have now. This is by no means going to be a quick project, but I am hopeful.
